The RIVER Ranger is designed as an educational awareness and action programme, specifically tailored for students. The programme emphasizes on every aspect of freshwater ecosytems, including its biodiversity, values and benefit to mankind.
The programme aims to expand the knowledge and awareness of students in local environment management and conservation. Students will learn to appreciate and value our water source, and the importance of sustaining it for future generations. The ultimate outcome of the RIVER Ranger Programme will see students that have been empowered to initiate and implement river basin audits, conservation projects, and resource management in their respective schools and communities.
